EVENTS AND LECTURES FOR 2024 – 2025
Our events are held at 12 noon on the first Saturday of every month at the Margaret Roberts Herbal Centre Lecture Hall.
We appreciate bookings to help us with catering, as well as the preparation of printed notes for every lecture. An SMS will be gratefully received. Please note all 12 lectures are completely new lectures! Teas and lunch events are ongoing at the Restaurant until 3 pm.
PLEASE: NO children, babies, pets, as these have proved to be distracting as the 1 ½ hour lecture is intense!

A completely new set of 12 lectures are offered this year, with new notes, recipes and formulas. Booking for all lectures are very easy and helpful as our preparations are then sufficient. Our office is open 08:00 – 13:00 every weekday. Book early to avoid disappointment. Our aim this year is to introduce to you new plants, new seeds, new medicines, which we hope to have ready on the day of the lecture.

Due to the many lectures and demonstrations we offer to schools, hotel schools, beauty schools, technicons, garden clubs, conferences and weddings etc… we are only open on a Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month but please check these dates and confirm in advance telephonically. The restaurant, tea garden, shop, nursery and fairy gallery are all open on these Wednesdays and open Saturdays.
We have a entrance fee of R20 per car, R5O per Mini Bus, R100 per Bus (16 Seater or more), payable at the shop.
OPEN DAYS TO THE PUBLIC ARE ONLY ON WEDNESDAYS AND 1ST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. (SORRY, we give classes and have functions on the other days). NB. – IF A WEDNESDAY FALLS ON A PUBLIC HOLIDAY WE ARE STILL OPEN! DON’T FORGET TO BOOK YOUR SPECIAL EVENT!
